RealTime for Windows 4.0

[Vistasource News] March Newsletter RealTime for Windows is an add-in for Microsoft Excel™ that uses Excel's ultra fast and secure RTD function to display real-time market data.

RealTime for Windows is used by traders, analysts, back office, and anyone that needs to capture and publish real-time market data in Excel without requiring  expensive applications supplied by some data vendors.

Unlike Reuters PowerPlus Pro™, RealTime for Windows is data vendor  independant, and allows you to use multiple data sources with a single product. Currently RealTime for Windows supports Reuters RMDS, Bloomberg, TIB CI Server and Triarch.

This new version includes the following changes:

- MS Excel 2007 is now fully supported. (7005016)
- RealTime for Windows COM Server is now digitally signed. (7005025)
- Removal of legacy functions
- Real-time data is now provided using Excel's RTD functions.
- Support of Reuters SFC API 4.5.1 L3 which fixes some SFC issues.

Applixware 6.1

Applixware is a full-featured suite of integrated modules designed for real world solutions and performance. The suite includes such modules as a word processor, a real time event driven spreadsheet, programmable vector graphic tool, database interface, and much more.

Designed to work in the UNIX/Linux and Windows operating environments, Applixware  is successfully used to manage such applications as mobile phone tower monitoring, airplane manufacturing, highway traffic management and financial trading with it's set of RealTime data engines for Windows and Unix.

The current version Applixware 6.1 is available for Sun Sparc Solaris, Linux, and Microsoft Windows.

The updates in this version include:

- Support of Reuters SFC API 4.5.1 L3 which fixes some SFC issues.
- New Netfeed Realtime engine (7004705)
- Export to PDF menu option for Solaris and Linux. (7004562)
- New RTCONV utility for migrating to the RMDS Engine. (7004166)
- Enhanced Directory Displayer. (7003306)
